Hand Painted pattern created with Mordant Paste combined with Plant extracts and over dyed with plant dyes. We use Logwood, Iron and Indigo Dyes for Deep Sea Blue, and Pomegranate shell and Osage for our Soft Buttery Yellow
Medium weight, soft linen, 12”x20” lumbar pillow, hand cut and sewn. One sided pattern
Feather insert, zipper closure
Each dye bath is unique and will have a slight fluctuation. Our textiles show the uniqueness of the dyer through irregularities and variations. These are considered beneficial characteristics and and an expression of the dyer. As with all hand dyed fabric, there will be some tonal shifts and unique qualities in each piece.
