Hand Printed Bandana, Cedar Pattern
Organic Cotton Bandana,
Tone on Tone, created entirely with Plants.
Hand Block Printed patterns are created with Mordant Paste combined with Plant extracts and over dyed with plant dyes. We use Cochineal, Madder Root, Pomegranate and Osage and Cutch to create our color. These bandanas have a very soft hand.
24x24” ( 4 inches larger than traditional bandanas )
Hand wash, line dry to extend life of the print. Can also be put in the dryer.
All of our textiles are dyed in small batches in our studio in Wethersfield CT. Each dye bath is unique and will have a slight fluctuation. Our textiles show the uniqueness of the dyer through irregularities and variations. These are considered beneficial characteristics and and an expression of the dyer. As with all hand dyed fabric, there will be some tonal shifts and unique qualities in each piece.
