Plant Color Pallete ~ Video

Often I get asked to share some insight into our process in creating dyes and inks exclusively with Plants. A very tall order. There are simply so many steps and so much to each recipe that I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Each plant has it’s own specific recipe and of course my recipes are my own, so that I can achieve colors that feel harmonious to me. So my thoughts were to share some videos that I have created and posted in my Instagram. The first one is a preview of some new work with dye extracts and pastes. Please note that these videos will not be about teaching a process, but rather just to highlight the work and effort that goes into creating color with plant material. I hope you enjoy!
